National Curriculum Statement (NCS) must be achieved with a minimum of a diploma pass. In addition, students should have passed the following:

English with at least level 4(50-59%)

Mathematics with at least level 3(40-49%) or mathematical literacy with at least level 4(50-59%)

Any 3 of the following subjects must be passed to make up an Admission Point Score (APS) of 20: Agricultural Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Geography, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Consumer Studies, Tourism, History or Computer related subjects.
Only 5 best subjects will be considered (Life Orientation not included). All candidates who comply with the minimum entrance to the qualification will be subjected to a selection procedure.
Applicants who achieved the Senior Certificate /Matric (prior 2009).
The minimum of Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification, with school leaving or exemption pass. In addition, a student must have: –

English with at least Higher Grade E

Mathematics with a minimum Higher Grade E or Standard Grade D.

One of the following subjects with a minimum Higher Grade E or Standard Grade D:
Biology, Physical Science, Agricultural Science, Geography, Accountancy, Business Economics or Economics.

Only two languages will be considered.
Only 5 best subjects will be considered (Biblical Studies not included). All candidates who comply with the minimum entrance to the qualification will be subjected to a selection procedure.
Students from other academic institutions wishing to enrol with TSCA will be subjected to evaluation by the admission committee. The following criteria will be used:

A certificate of conduct together with an academic record from the previously enrolled institution will be required for consideration.

A new student can only be credited a maximum of 40% of modules that have been passed at an equivalent or higher level institution.

If a student leaves the college before completing the diploma, the college will only indicate the module he/she registered and passed during the years of study BUT will not reflect the credited module/ courses obtained from the previous institution.

The NQF level and credits of the module(s) to be considered for crediting must be equivalent to or higher than that of TSCA module(s) to qualify for crediting.

The student cannot correspond the diploma qualification as it requires compulsory attendance.

Prospective students should submit certified copies of documents as listed below:

Grade 12 Certificate (if the applicant has already matriculated) or record of June exam results (if the applicant is currently in Grade 12).

National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification.

NCV Level 04 certificate in Primary Agriculture or NQF Level 4 National Certificate.

Certified copy of South African Identity document or Passport of applicant .

Proof of payment of application fee .

Completed Tompi Seleka College Application for Admission form.
N.B. Study permit and SAQA approved certificate will be prerequisite for prospective foreign students.
